3 days at La Serena
October 09, 2022
My best vacations happened four years ago, destination? La
Serena. I remember I was going to decide not to go with my brother because I
had a debate next week and I needed to study, but I thought I could study
during the trip (spoiler: There wasn´t time to study). It would be a short 3
days vacations, it was a long trip, I started to miss Santiago during the
fourth hour of trip, the weather was mild when we arrived at La Serena, our
first destination was the Japanese garden, the decorations and infrastructure
of the place were impressive.
Then we went to tour the Third Millennium Cross
in Coquimbo, it´s an amazing monument!!!!! It was a unique experience because I
had never been in such a high place, the cab looked like it was jumping trying
to go down the hill, I thought I was on the roller coaster. We got a tour to go
around the Elqui Valley the next day,

I don't remember more beautiful
landscapes than the ones I saw in that place, fortunately the sun appeared that
day and we could get good pictures, I think it was the most fun day of my life
because I felt like I was living an adventure. We spent the last day of the
trip touring the city, we walked along the beach, visited the monumental
lighthouse and a zoo whose name I don´t remember. When I returned to Santiago I
remembered that I had not studied anything for my debate, the professor told my
group that it was our turn, when we were in front we did not say anything, we
just looked at each other and laughed. It was a very embarrassing moment, but I
didn't feel bad because I knew I had lived such wonderful moments that I would
remember forever, moments that still live with me.
The Japanese Garden and the Elqui valley are both beautiful places to visit there. Study is important, but living life is more, don't feel bad about it
ResponderEliminarIt is kinda difficult to study when you're in such a nice place, but totally worth it
